MMS suddenly dead, both directions
As of today I am unable to send or receive MMS messages. SMS works fine. Receiving a MMS message, I get a notification something like "unable to download MMS message. Check APN settings and tap to try again." This is a hard error and has now occurred half a dozen times. Sending doesn't work either, with a red exclamation point next to the outgoing message in the conversation.
I didn't change any APN settings. Never the less, I checked my carrier's web site (NET10 aka straighttalk). APN settings are correct, and I tried some suggested alternate settings that don't work, either.
I didn't change any settings in Chomp.
I notice there was an update to Chomp that installed last night.
I have otherwise excellent LTE connection and full web and email access over it.
Any idea what's gone wrong?
Edited to add:
I tested receiving and sending MMS using the stock "Messages" app and it works perfectly. Problem seems to be with Chomp.

I am also having the same issues and using Google Fi on a Nexus 6P. In fact, Chomp has not worked (either immediately crashes, or fails to work normally) for a month already. Yesterday Chomp did not crash, but does not work correctly either. I can send SMS and MMS messages but definitely can not receive MMS messages. Also, the text of the messages received does not match the messages listed by the Android Messages app as if they are totally different files.
This is really sad after using Chomp without problems for seven years already (4 years on this device).
I also see a mystery green dot next to some messages. To me this suggests that there is a new message but there is not and the green dot does not go away.
