I disagree on this issue maybe some people likes it and some don't I don't mind it but there is better ones that I haven't tried yet. And is something that I have tried that was worse and some that was better.

No this doesnt work for me, in my case for example, i need a primary sms app who supports the "make app standard function" to receive sms in chomp, otherwise i get no sms!! Because my stock sms app is deletet by my fault!! :-P
