You have to adjust your phone's settings for auto-correct. It's not a setting within chompSMS's features because your phone will auto-correct (or not) no matter what app you type in. Correcting you is not exclusive to texting. It's system wide.

I do not have time to teach the app to stop changing what I type.

You have to teach it to know certain words. Type them in and then look at the list of words scrolling on the bar between your message and your keyboard. It will ask you to touch the word to save it. I had to teach mine how to cuss.

Well I have this feature on telephone mobile phone that is that it lets me turn it off but I haven't so I don't know if it works or not I hope it does I hope I may not need to use it and if I do I hope it works? thanks

I'm not sure if this feature is working on my phone or not but if it is it would be nice to turn it off because I spell like Lexie and sometimes it spells it tin like Diane and not the way my friend's name is spelt Dyann and Kelly but my friend Kellie is spelt different like the one above Kellie!
