Auto delete needed.

I'm going to chime in here and say we desperately need this feature. I want the ability to view my messages through filters. I'd also like to be able to create rules to periodically purge text messages. For example, I want to keep all the texts from certain contacts. However, I also get a lot of notification/automated texts on my phone. Hundreds over time. I'd like the ability to have those removed by assigning specific rules.

I've been a Chomp user for close to 10 years I think and now moving to Textra because they added a scheduling feature and they have message auto delete. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hopefully you can do better help 4 all around the application it would be great to keep it up to the users whom want to kept it front of x amount or an joint to be within the subscribe of the application (to wave the ads & some benefit) including as plan A mentioning (what you can enjoy a benefit front of x amount) as well as plan B (but with out enjoying the messages facility to be safe 4 good) 2 keep, front of less x amount.

Please add this feature!! We all desperately need it.

I've been wanting this for years. I have to switch to my default app and wait for a text from people. Then it deletes all but the last x number if texts. Of course I backup those that I want to keep before hand. It would be great if it limited to only x months or kept x amount. This is what this app has been lacking for awhile.

Why? Is it my phone was set up about maybe three weeks. Ago and my phone number had to be charged not even four days after my new. Phone number was activity with my air time card 45$plan

This is like the most requested feature of all time. Most other SMS apps have this; why doesn't Chomp?

I have pro and cannot find where to delete old messages or limit the number

I agree we need this feature. Or at least a select all option. Then u can un-check the most recent

Add maximum number of text messages per conversation to 500 and over that number the older messages get deleted option
