After so much time and so many requests, why is it taking so long to Institute this feature?

Handcent has it. Chomp is better in every other way, but the feature is incredible.

Delete old messages based on count - you can even have it distinguish SMS/MMS so you don't lose funny pics that people sent or whatever

Need this option or will have to find another app.

Other sms apps can fo this. Please improve an otherwise excellent app by implementing this soon.

The idea is to have the option. As with all options, users can choose to leave it off and not use it.

This idea was originally submitted almost 2 yrs ago and you still haven't done it

I would love to be able to auto delete messages once I hit a certain number/age. Having to clear out space by selecting each message is incredibly annoying. Other apps offer this as an option.

Option to control Auto Deletion, number of messages and message aging would be great addition hovever, we would have to be able to turn this option ON/OFF
