I think it'd be awesome to have the option to auto-delete old texts, or more specifically, being able to set limits on the max number of saved messages in a single conversation. I'd love to be able to set a limit of, let's say, 25 or 50. Then, I wouldn't have to worry about those extra long conversations taking up space on my phone, because every text after 25 or 50 would be auto-deleted. However, the key word is OPTION. Like many of us, there have been times where I've wanted or needed to keep record of the entire conversation. Overall, I think this idea would be an excellent option to have, and I look forward to what the developers have in store for us.

For those who truly want or need "Automatic" deletion - or archival - of older messages, I'm fully in support of that. But for those of us who have some legitimate need to retain some or all of our messages indefinitely, we should NOT have to worry about those messages being systematically deleted. I could definitely support a long term (7 year?) safe archival process.

As long as they're being backed up properly & there's an option to NOT delete locked, that would be awesome! So many more things in life to have to be concerned with.. Tnx

The feature we need the most.

The app can manage a very large conversation log, but after months of neglecting to delete them, I finally hit the point where it caused problems and could not send or receive texts in the conversation with tge largest back log. It would be preferred to delete older text than to lose text functionality. It was difficult to troubleshoot the issue because I had to guess what the problem might be and just got lucky. Otherwise, I love Chomp SMS. It's a great app.Thanks!

This app is sendibg out 64 text to the same person 64 a minute. Correct and Update

When will Chomp be adding this feature? This should be part of every sms app.
