I agree I think it's a very important (and basic) option !

I agree, it would be amazing to auto-delete on set interval or over X amount of texts

I did setting g private number so can't enter my message so k decide remove password set I used it until pop password I did click and not work how enter my message?

Would save me clearing all texts once a month manually.
Would save me about 10 seconds☺

It's beyond crazy that there's no auto delete capabilities. Basically it ruins an otherwise amazing app

I would like to set max number of messages and/or maximum number of days to keep messages.

Please make this an option! My "dialer storage" is killing my free space on my phone!

Why is this so hard to implement? Some of the other apps I have used in the past used to have this option and took it away. I have now switched to the stock Samsung app just for this reason.

Yea, I hate having to clear text messages on my own seven they reach a certain limit.

This would put Chomp over the top as the very best text app on Android. However, to be clear, the user would have to have the ability to set the delete limits by time or number of texts, and the user would need to be able to turn it off in some way.

No way... I like keeping all my messages. I would uninstall instantly if app made those choices for me

I'm new to Chomp and was very surprised to notice recently that my older messages are not deleting automatically. Seems like this should be a no-brainer for any texting app. I'm really puzzled by Chomp's inability to get this done. Too hard I guess?? It makes NO sense.
