have a setting to automatically delete old messages except locked ones
in the native app you can select the maximum no. of msgs in a conversation.would be amazing if u add this feature coz it'd prevent the messages from bulking up

While your on it. Add an option to also autodelete unlocked messages that is older than a sirtain number of days, weeks or months.
