Looking to mute group texts. How would I go about it?

Equally good would be a way to just mute group texts so that I'm never notified of new messages from that group.

Oh please make this an option! I hate getting stuck in a group text!

Yes group messages suck. I get every single text sent and everything I send goes to individuals. Nothing I send goes to the individual.
