Add a mute feature to turn off notifications for a specific conversation or group chat.

I want to be able to select a convo and mute it so the texts are still received however I'm not notified. This would be a great feature to temporarily silence group chats which the user does not wish to actively take part in. preferably a simple press on the convo and a tap of a mute button.

    Urgently needed, I have group texts with a few friends and they start a back and forth at 3 in the morning and I want to quickly mute them without having to go to their individual names and mute them separately or without having to put my whole phone in DND/Silent mode.

    This may be a make or break feature for me on this app. My in laws love group messages and always include me regardless of my wishes. When is this feature coming?

    How is this not an option to mute group texts?? Every other app I've ever used has this option. This is a great app otherwise. Please don't make me have to start using another app.

    A long press on the group no longer has the option for muting. I'd be satisfied if long pressing the convo then long pressing each group member - but that doesn't work either..... HELP There are people I don't text individually!!

    Bummer. I just reinstalled this app after not using for awhile and now that I see I can't silence group threads, I'm out again! That sucks!

    I am also having problems with this as I have a group conversation that I muted while on vacation, but now I can't unmute it! Please give this feature back!

    This use to be an option, why did you take it away? I even have one conversation that I muted 2 months ago that I now cannot unmute. This is a necessary feature that should be standard on the app. If it wasn't for the t mobile fix you offer I would just go back to googles Messenger app.

    Yes... other apps allow to silent notifications on a particular GROUP chat too. Please add this. Raise your pro fee if necessary.

    so it's impossible to unmute a contact once it's been muted? Great. Glad I paid for the PRO version. Or not.
