Change the unread signal - the green dot. It is not very visable
Maybe make all the writing of the conversation preview in bold or make the whole box a customizable color to say when a message is unread?

changing the color of the action bar is a nice work around, but we need to be able to change the dot separately. I also humbly request that we be able to change it from a dot to a vertical bar on the side of the message, like it used to be in chomp years ago...

Just noticed that when I changed the color of the action bar, the color of the dot changed too! (Same color as the action bar.) Okay, this might work!

My unread indicator dot also just recently changed from green to black. With my dark background, I can hardly see it and I've almost passed over a new message because I couldn't see the dot. Green was better than this black dot. Letting users choose the dot color would be fantastic!

My door is never green any more, it's always black. Would love to see green or any color other than black again.
