MMS picture compression, error sending MMS (image too large), MMS failing to send
Chomp SMS > Settings > MMS > Carrier Send Limit = Carrier has no limit is the issue.
If you set this Carrier Send Limit setting too large then MMS messages will fail to send, here's why:
* Your mobile carrier can only send MMS messages up to a certain size (limit). So, if you try to send an MMS larger than this limit the MMS will fail to send.
* To ensure MMS messages send (as opposed to failing because they are larger than your mobile carriers limit), Chomp SMS will automatically compress pictures to be smaller than the size you specify in the Carrier Send Limit.
So change the Carrier Send Limit to be smaller (typically 1MB is fine for most mobile carriers) and then send yourself a picture (MMS) to ensure it's now working properly. Any issues email us.
Note: Chomp SMS cannot currently compress GIFs or Videos.
