  1. Add "Mark as Read" as an option on the popup notification

    On WhatsApp and the most recent native version of the Android messaging app, when a message comes in you can see the preview and you get TWO options: "Reply" (on the left) and "Mark as Read" (on the right). Can we have the "Mark as Read" option added to ChompSMS, in the same fashion? It would save some time when no response is required for an SMS.

  2. Get colored icon option in notification bar back

    Google really knows how to make people feel old. I'm embarrassed to complain about this, but I have a really hard time distinguishing the white "new SMS" icon from the white "new email" icon.

    Obviously when I had a blue Chomp icon, I didn't need to reach for reading glasses to read the notification bar. I saw the blue icon and went to Chomp and then had my customized interface with the nice large font I used in my template design.

    The pins colour changes with the dates. The pin should have a standalone colour distinct from the dates in the conversation list.

  8. Heads Up Display for MMS Group Texts

    Quick Reply HeadsUp display does not work when an MMS group text is received. Only pops up for SMS texts. It would be nice if text MMSs would show.

  9. Documents via Attachment.

    Be able to send a document (Word for PDF file) as an attachment rather than only via a Dropbox Link. This would be handy for business people.

  11. Show contact conversation when creating a new message

    When creating a new message, once you have chosen a recipient and have started typing, would it be possible to show the conversation history you have with that contact?

    This is almost implemented, but it shows the conversation history once you click send on your new message. I was hoping that it could show up once you start typing the message.

  12. Compatibility with Fitbit Versa Quick Replies

    The new FitBit Versa allows for 'quick replies', but it doesn't work with ChompSMS. I can get the text message on the Versa via Chomp, just can't use the Quick Reply feature. I switched to another SMS program and it worked, but I much preferred the ChompSMS notifications and switched back. Ideally, Chomp will work with FitBit Quick Replies at some point in the near future?

  13. Visual indication that a text was successfully sent

    Some text message apps visually indicate with a check mark or other symbol that a text message was successfully sent. There have been many times when I sent a text using Chomp SMS and I don't find out until hours later that the text was not successfully sent.

    I suggest that chomp SMS add something to the conversation interface so that users can immediately know if a text was successfully sent and received. This way, users do not have to wait for the error message to appear minutes or hours later.

  14. Strip GEOTAGS when sending SMS images

    I think lots of people keep GeoTagging enabled in their camera app because of related functionality in apps like Google Maps or Photos, but don't realize that they are also sending their exact location coordinates with every selfie or other picture they send as an SMS text message. I 'd like to keep generating geotags each image but have an option in CHOMP to strip geotags (and possibly other stored personal information) from outgoing SMS photo messages such as TIFF and JPEG.
