I've checked all settings and I still get no sounds for the last few weeks.

Please fix this Chomp. I don't get notifications from texts way too often especially after the first message I put my phone down and the person is answered and I never heard a thing keeps happening

Definitely need this! Running on Nougat 7.0.

Android Marshmallow seems to have resolved this issue for me.

This is the only thing I dislike about Chomp. Textra has this function working, and it looks like it's supposed to work in Chomp but it doesn't. Please please fix! I miss way too many messages!

Very anoying to NOT be notified because I set my phone down without closing out my conversation. Perhsps an option would be in order here? Thanks for the great program.

Right now the best I can do to hopefully not miss a message reply is to turn on the "always vibrate" feature. It won't play a notification sound, but it will vibrate.

Not the best option, however, because a) I don't always feel or hear the vibration, and b) it even vibrates when the phone is set to not vibrate.

There's also an option to vibrate according to phone defaults, but that doesn't work because it doesn't vibrate when in a conversation in Chomp.

Such a simple feature to add - tired of missing replies due to no notification sound!

I'm surprised this does not have more votes! I really want the option of having a notification sound while a conversation is open. Often I miss text replies because I'm multi-tasking and don't hear the vibration. Textra just announced they have started working on this feature. Let's get it for Chomp too!

I also came to this app because it offered this feature. Missing too many replies now.

This is why i got this app just to solve this problem. I may have to search for a new text app now

Also, the received msgs don't rewake the screen when left idled in the conversation screen.
