YES!!! Especially during the pandemic, I have been added to many more group chats and I had not even realized that you could not mute them until now. It's extremely annoying, as I work at night and everybody is spamming my phone during the day. I can't just mute notifications because my phone is my alarm too. I wouldn't mind sacrificing the ability to mute individual conversations in favor of being able to do it for group chats!
