  2. reverse the RETURN/Emoticon key so that RETURN is the default and the emoticon menu is the long-press.

  3. Having the return and smiley key as one is a bad idea. There are times that I just want to start a new line and not have the smiles come up.

    I also much prefer the way the emoticons appeared in the previous version. I would rather scroll right and left, than up and down. The area is wider than taller, so side-to-side is easier.
