bug: if conversation is open and screen is on, there is no led/notification/sound when they reply. so you are not aware of reply. bad
The notification needs to fire even if the conversation is open. All other sms apps including stock ones do this. Otherwise you have no idea that you received a message. Please fix.

Actually, my stock app stopped providing notifications with the conversation open too upon update to Android Lillipop. I agree that this would be a great fix for Chomp to do. I suggest we consolidate our votes in one place - here is the link with the most votes:
