  1. Notification while convo is open

    I'd really like a notification if I get a reply while the convo is open. I miss many txt replies due to laying the phone down during a convo to multitask due to no sound. I cannot find an option to turn this on or change it.

  5. Password Protect individual message conversation.

    Different password or even a single one for individual message conversation which can be turned on or off in the settings. Maybe a Vault where whitelisted contact messages will immediately enter which can only be accessed by using a password.

  6. Disable notifications from certain message threads

    Allow the option to silence notifications for a group message thread or SMS message thread. The visual or led notification would be fine, but cancel any further audio notifications.

  7. detect contact numbers with different format

    Currently, chomp SMS cannot detect phone numbers saved in different format, for example in my contacts list, i have a contact saved in international format (example +639123456789) but when i receive a message from him, it is converted into local format (09123456789, maybe because of service provider) and chomp cannot display the name of that contact.... But when i send a message using any format, it is grouped on the same thread.... So the bottom line, the problem is it cannot show the name of the contact....

  8. Group sms from different numbers but same contact into single thread

    I text with people who use multiple phone numbers. At this time conversation is spread into multiple threads and I have to manually switch between them in order to send a reply. It would be nice if I could see all messages aggregated into single thread.
    I am aware that there are use-cases that need to be managed - what comes in my mind right now is:

    1. label for each received sms would have to include phone number (or its type according to contact list) - it's visibility may be configurable

    Being able to "Mark As Unread" would allow messages about which we need to be reminded to stay up top in the message list.

  12. Browsing and sending GIF may be implemented (see "Textra" app for example)

    It would be nice to be able to browse through GIFs and send them as MMS, just like some other apps do :)

  13. Select members in a group for texting

    I would like to be able to select members from a group individually to remove from a new group text when not all members of the group need the text, kinda like how Handcent does it.

  14. Make a dark/night theme apply to settings

    I love the dark themes, especially for the quick reply, etc. But I would love for there to be a way to apply a dark/night mode to the settings. I use many apps where this is just a check box or similar in the settings menu.

  15. Emoji size increase. Independent from text size.

    The emoji seem a little small. I know I can make them bigger by increasing text size, but I don't want to make my text giant just to have bigger emoji. Could there be a emoji text size independent from the font size?

  17. Disable group mms

    Example: Bill sends an mms from his phone to Ben and myself. I reply to the message thinking that I am commenting to Bill only. I mention something that Ben shouldn't read but because the message is a group message, Ben gets a copy too. Handcent on my old s3 used to be able to do this. Please add it to chomp.

  18. Unread message counts not showing on the app icon. Also add an option to show 'Unread messages'

    1.Add an option to show 'Unread messages'
    2.App icon not shows the unread counter.
    3.On selecting multiple messages to delete, the TOP RIGHT CORNER MUST SHOW the DELETE ICON & NOT THE TICK MARK.

  20. Voice to text button on keyboard?

    I don't know when it went away but my keyboard no longer displays the voice to text button. Am I missing something or is it possible to get it back?
