  1. Amend knowledge base article on notifications troubleshooting to include an extra item.

    Clear the Chomp app cache. Go to Settings>see all apps>Chomp>Storage and cache>CLEAR CACHE.
    Problem: Sound notifications to received texts from anyone in my contacts list stopped occurring. I repeatedly tried to set alert sounds in the notifications settings for individual contacts but the changes wouldn't "stick", having reverted to the silent option every time I rechecked. I tried all the suggestions in the knowledge base article and more (!) without success.

    Solution: I cleared the Chomp app cache and I'm getting sound notifications once more.

  2. contact name not showing up

    my wife's contact name has been replaced by the service provider text message email address for her phone number. Google text message app uses her name as expected for the same message thread. I am a pro user. please advise on solution.

  4. To have SMS messages returned at a convenient time to reply

    If you receive a text, and it's not a good time to write back. A way to press and hold, and set a time for another notification, would be AMAZING! For people like me, who have a lot of texts coming in (business) and don't want to forgot to reply to customers etc

  5. Backup/Restore Issue

    In settings, it says that I should use Google Drive to backup and restore my SMS messages. However, Google Drive says that my data was backed up 6 hours ago and Chomp says that my last backup was on July 20, 2023. Can you explain what is happening?

  6. To fix the

    Notification bug. Ever time I set a ringtone for someone as a text it resets it to something else by itself. Please fix this.

  7. Why is it ALWAYS nearly impossible to get to know the price to get rid of the ads? I don`t even know how to do just that. Why?????

    Please! Tell how to get rid of ads!! How do i pay? What do i pay? Not even when I read your search enegine do I get a proper answer, Why do you have such problem to give the proper information regarding this?

  8. Lost text messages

    Chomp SMS seems to randomly lose text messages on my Bllackview BV9200 Android 12 phone. There is no notification and the messages seem to be lost nowhere to be found. This does not happen with the stock Android Messaging app. This makes Chomp SMS completely unusable for me.

  9. Trying to retrieve my themes

    I'm trying to sign in to my chomp account to retrieve and download my themes and it won't let me sign in... It's saying that Google doesn't support this app... So what do i do to be able to retrieve my old themes and download more themes?

  10. Larger font

    Can you make a way to increase the size of the font in the app? I've increased the size on my phone, but in app it's still pretty small and harder to read. Thanks, loving the app so far!!

  12. allow to set the navigation bar color

    Hello,
    Currently the navigation bar color in the application is white which looks very bad in the dark themes. It would be awesome to get somewhere the ability to set the color of the navbar.

  18. Copy and paste

    Is there anyway to copy and paste a single line in a saved message ? I have password's and now they are impossible to copy without copying the whole message. My old Htc one m9 messages worked perfect for doing this. Thanks Frank

  19. Can't send pictures from Google photos

    I've never had a problem sending pictures from Google photos but all of a sudden when I hit attach it goes to gallery. I can't get it to go to Google photos

  20. Where are backups stored in Google drive? Can i find a previous backup and restore it?
