Have just ditched Handcent tonight after using it for years and am liking Chomp so far but can't believe this feature is missing. I used orange icon as default, green for family, pink for girl buddies and blue for bf and the instant visual was very useful particularly if I was away from the phone so didn't hear the contact's notification sound when the msg was delivered. Please add this function. You already have the icon range so only being able to use one at a time seems a bit ridiculous.
