  2. Add the ability to name Group chats

    Android Messages just added this feature today (3/20/19). Other than that and web compatibility, Chomp does everything better than messages.

  5. Shorthand

    The only thing this app is missing is the ability to create shorthand. Like if I type twimc and I have created my own shorthand definitions it would write to whom it may concern. Or if I did my initials it would write my whole name. I used shorthand years ago but this has never developed it.

    Instead of it dating someone is typing actually show a small window of the person with audio. Only if both parties I opt in or allow in settings or app permissions.

  10. Emotion characteristics

    What do people stress more over chats or text? Nice answers but no..... It's arguments, fights, getting let down by some one you admire, relationship trouble and miscommunication. Just like the (Mei) app that has A.I or artificial intelligence. Only the Mei app just asks questions and mostly tells you how the person is, or let's you change their characteristics traits..... Like wtf you gone do with that?
    No I'm talking about full blown man your girlfriend is texting like she has something on your mind, your mom is asking more questions than usual, you're boyfriends patterns are pushing you…

  12. Customise Emoji

    I want all the emojis on Chompsms appear on my phone or the message sending.
    Because the users don't see them. Chompsms don't show all the emoji downloading, excepting the emoticone ASCI

  13. Finger print

    It would be nice if my fingerprint could be used to open the app. Right now I have set it to use a pattern to open the app, it would be so convenient to use fingerprint like some of my other apps.

  14. Popup bubble

    Just recently I've started receiving a popup bubble similar to the on from Facebook Messenger. How can I turn this off? I already have the Chomp icon on my homescreen and don't like having this bubble popup everytime I receive a new message.

  17. Personnalisation liste noire

    Il serait bien de pouvoir personnaliser la liste noire, par ex si l'on dit que tel mot est présent dans un sms/mms, le message sera bloqué en liste noire voir supprimé.
    Donc si on dit que viagra est un mot interdit, chaque message contenant ce mot qu'il soit en titre ou corps bloquera tout le message.

    Idem si l'on décide de bloquer toute une série de numéro de téléphone, par ex si l'on met 06 99 99 99 alors tous les numéros compris entre 06 99 99 99 00 et 06 99 99 99 99 seront bloqués.

    L'App par défaut…

  20. Add "Mark as Read" as an option on the popup notification

    On WhatsApp and the most recent native version of the Android messaging app, when a message comes in you can see the preview and you get TWO options: "Reply" (on the left) and "Mark as Read" (on the right). Can we have the "Mark as Read" option added to ChompSMS, in the same fashion? It would save some time when no response is required for an SMS.
